Seed Planting and Poetry
Poetry! Consent! Seedbombing! Join NZ programs Consent Matterz and Youth Now Climate Action for a gathering to connect with each other and write poetry and learn to make the earth more beautiful through seedbombing. Free and open to all high-school age teens and their families. Snacks provided!

Applications are open to any and all high school aged (13-18) youth who live in Washtenaw County. Must attend once a month Sunday meetings from 2-4 pm at Neutral Zone - Stipends and transportation provided. Click for more details
Rainbow Resistance @ NZ
Rainbow Resistance, a project to support LGBTQIA+ students to come together across the area high schools.
The project will include three day-long forums to bring students together for community, artistic development and voice to shape their school experience, each GSA/QSA will create a school visibility project with support of the NZ and community artists.

Poems Between Us OLLI
Teens will facilitate a poetry workshop with a classic and contemporary poem around the theme of generations. Poems will be announced at the workshop.
It will include a close reading of each poem, a writing prompt, and some feedback on work. There will then be time for a short open mic with participants to share their works.
