Royal Players, Neutral Zone’s very own theater troupe, is holding open auditions. We will be performing Into the Woods (prologue only!) and we’re looking to fill a few more roles. Openings are for Cinderella, Lucinda and Florinda, Stepmother, Jack’s mother, the Baker, the Baker’s wife and Little Red.

Come prepared with a song, audition piece is excerpt from the prologue. Click here to download PDF of sheet music and lyrics. The vocal range for all open roles are mezzo-soprano, except for Baker which is a baritone.

Don’t know how to prepare a song? Don’t worry, any proficiency level welcome. Come in and we’ll help you! If the audition piece is too much, just be ready to sing a song of your choosing a capella.

Program is just two weeks long, attendance required at daily rehearsals 2-6 PM Mon-Thurs July 27-30 and August 3-6. Guests welcome at final perfomance August 6th 4:30 pm.
