The Orpheum has a large tracking room, vocal booth, and a control room with a comfortable listening space. It is equipped with the latest DAWs acceptable for tracking, mixing, and production.

The Orpheum is a professional non-profit recording studio as well as a resource to high school-aged youth at The Neutral Zone, staffed by experienced professional recording engineers who are focused on producing your best sounds, while training high school and college-aged interns. Studio staff manage the communications, scheduling, and recording experience for clients and involve teens in learning these processes. Contracted recording in space is available to the public and is completed by Neutral Zone Staff with support from teen interns. The funds generated by our non-profit studio support the music department’s services to high school-aged youth in Washtenaw County.

$30/hr (for NZ registered high-school aged youth)
