June 24th - August 2nd from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday
All high school age youth are welcome to drop in to the NZ to connect with friends and engage in daily program activities. Summer drop in is free.
(no drop-in hours the week of July 1-5th)
Workshops- Every Monday 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm Before drop in begins.
Excursions every Wednesday:
June 26 Natural - History Museum will be leaving NZ at 3:30 pm 3:00 Pm Arrival Suggested will return by 6:00 pm
July 10, 2019 - University of Michigan Museum of Art - We will be leaving NZ at 3:30 pm and walking over to the museum will return by 6:00 pm
July 17, 2019 - Will leave NZ at 3:30 pm to walk Art fair set-up then out for ice cream will return by 6:00 pm
July 24, 2019 - Will leave NZ for swimming at vets park by 3:30 pm and will return back by 6:00 pm

Featured Summer Camps
NZ Features two weeks of summer camp, one for high school (entering 9-12 grade) and one for entering 7th and 8th grade across all NZ program in arts, music and leadership.
Teens select ONE track for the week when registering (tracks are listed in bold below), but work collaboratively across areas to host a culminating event on the last day.
Light snacks will be available, please bring a sack lunch and water bottle

Entering 7th & 8th grade
Time: 9:30 am – 3:30 pm (Drop off as early as 9:00 am). Additionally, there will be a culminating event on Friday, July 12th from 4 pm – 6 pm.
Music industry performance- learn live DJ-ing and beat production or compose music and record in the Orpheum Studio to support your musical voice.
We bring prose writers to support daily short fiction workshops in a relaxed and encouraging environment. All experience levels welcome.
Take your storytelling to a visual level. Shoot, edit and screen your own production to friends and family.
(this option is full and not taking new registrations)
Learn to interact with the camera and compose photos. Ann Arbor will be the inspiration for talking hikes and shooting pictures. Bring your own camera, smartphone, or use one of NZ’s shared cameras.
