Volunteer

If you have a spare minute here and there, come be a Neutral Zone Volunteer. We have many different projects and programs for you to work on based on your skills and interests. To gain some ideas of volunteer opportunities read below:

Programs:

Project Description Times
Drop-in: Snacks Pick up an extra bag of snacks and drop them by for teens to munch on after school Monday- Friday anytime
Drop-in: Dinners Try out your favorite dishes on us, make dinner for our drop-in teens Thursday nights at 6:00 PM (if you would like to make a dinner and Thursday night is not an option, please contact Rebecca at rebecca@neutral-zone.org
Education: Tutors Assist High School Students with academics, college applications, and career research at NZ. Monday- Thursday 3-5pm
Education: College info Contact colleges to collect information. Display and disseminate information to teens. Varies
Weekends: Door Work the door for weekend concerts and help to supervise the space Any Saturday night from 6:30-11:30 (may leave by 9 if needed).

Development:

Project Desription Times
Development: Mailings Fold, stuff, and stamp envelopes, bring your friends and chat while helping the NZ. varies
Development: Grant Research Help to identify potential grantors as well as research information related to proposals Mon thru Fri 9-5 or anytime on your own
