With a notebook, pen, and a passion for writing, Neutral Zone Literary Arts Programs discovers the voice of young people through the written word. Amongst a community of creative writers, engaging workshops, and constant encouragement, everyone’s creative talents are realized.

Short Story Workshop, Fridays 4-6pm
Teens write and write – trying out styles and techniques to find their voices as storytellers. The group’s stories are shared with the community through ample performance and publishing opportunities.
Volume Youth Poetry Project, Thursdays, 7-9pm
We meet weekly to write, critique and read our poetry with one another. In addition to writing and performing nationally recognized, award-winning poetry, we perform at local coffee shops, bookstores, and several large-scale community events.
Red Beard Press, Mondays, 7-9 p.m.
Red Beard Press is a cutting-edge, youth driven business dedicated to publishing emerging voices and inspiring passionate authors. Teen members select writers, edit pieces, design layout, and market and distribute publications. Join a dynamic writing community that aims to reinvigorate the publishing business.
