Directions to The Neutral ZoneThe Neutral Zone is located in downtown Ann Arbor at 310 E. Washington Street, near the intersection of Washington Street and Fifth Avenue. NZ is across the street from the Bank of Ann Arbor and is located within walking distance from AATA’s Blake Transit Center. Directions from area high schools:To get to the Neutral Zone, Huron students would take the AATA Route 3 bus. It picks up at the bus stop across Huron Parkway (on the east side of Huron Pkwy) from the school. Students would have to catch the 2:57 p.m. bus. (The one before picks up at 2:27; the same time 6ht period ends). The bus goes north to Glazier Way, down to the VA Hospital and arrives at the Blake Transit Center at 3:15 p.m. The students would then have to walk two blocks to Neutral Zone. Cost for teens taking an AATA bus is $.75.
Pioneer students can take the AATA bus to downtown Ann Arbor from the AATA bus stop on S. Main Street. Take AATA bus router #16 or #7 to the AATA Transit Center. Neutral Zone is one block north and one block east of the Transit Center. Cost to ride the AATA bus is $.75 for teens. Walking is always another option and great exercise!!
Option #1: Take AATA Bus Route #18 from the Skyline AATA bus stop. Router #18 leaves the Skyline bust stop at 2:48 PM, and again at 3:25 PM. Teens pay only $.75 to ride the bus.
Option #2: Skyline students wishing to go to Neutral Zone can take the school bus that goes to Pioneer from Skyline. From Pioneer, they will have to take the AATA bus from the AATA bus stop (or walk!) to downtown Ann Arbor. They would take AATA bus Router #16 or #7 to the AATA Transit Center. Neutral Zone is one block north and one block east of the Transit Center. Cost to ride the AATA bus is only $.75 for teens. |
